Seeking individual with ability to create and streamline production processes for Vacuum Metallizing, Chemical Vapor Deposition, Sputtering, Cathodic Arc Deposition, Thermal Spraying or related coating techniques.
Shall:
Perform studies of manufacturing activities and assign objectives for future process improvements, providing in-depth analysis of cost effectiveness and time consumption of proposed improvements.
Work with manufacturing, technical and quality personnel to implement changes to processes, pursuing continuous improvement.
Analyze unique customer product needs and design new or adapt current processes to achieve quick and quality production of new products.
Train operators on new processes and ensure defect-less manufacturing.
Requirements:
4
years experience in a process improvement engineering role in a plan with large sheet metallizing capabilities.
Knowledge of production improvement methodologies, including Lean Six Sigma or Kaizen.
B.S. in Chemical Engineering or similar discipline.
