Essential Functions Write, review, and edit proposals to foundations and other potential funders.
Identify, manage, and secure grants from private and public foundations.
Develop and maintain relationships with local, state, and federal funding agencies.
Provide leadership for identifying, qualifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding major foundation grant makers.
Work to establish long-term partnerships and strengthen existing relationships with agencies that provide grants.
Performs other duties as required/assigned by Manager QualificationsKnowledge, Skills and Abilities Required 3-5 years of successful grant writing experience in nonprofit or educational setting.
Proven history in researching, writing, and administering grants.
Ability to take initiative, collaborate, and use innovative techniques to prepare grant applications.
Ability to design, develop, and implement funded projects.
Ability to plan, prioritize, and coordinate multiple projects.
Self-motivated and driven.
Recommended Skills Administration Grant Writing Leadership Requirement Prioritization Research Self Motivation Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
