Adolescent Counselors and Case Managers for Flexible Contract Work

We are recruiting:
Child and Family Counselors Child Counselors Residential Counselors Youth Counselors Social Workers Case Managers MAXIMUS Clinical Services is a leader in providing specialized assessment services.
We are partnered with the State of Michigan, Department of Health and Human Services, to ensure compliance with the Family First Prevention Services Act that was signed into law in 2018.
This law requires administration of the CANS (Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths) assessments for adolescents (definition in dictionary is ages 10-19) being displaced from their homes and placed into congregate care settings.
Professionals will administer the CANS assessments on a flexible, part-time, contractual basis.
As an independent contractor, assessors are compensated for each completed assessment.
Performing these assessments will ensure that each child is placed in the least restrictive setting and recommendations are provided for necessary services and supports.
BENEFITS Flexible Schedule - This is contract, fee-for-service work and assessments can be worked around any schedule to include weekends and evenings.
As an independent contractor, you set your schedule.
No Office to Report To - These assessments are conducted in the child's current environment which may include a variety of facilities to include QRTPs, homes, hospitals etc.
Professionals are provided a catchment area within their community and surrounding communities.
Competitive Compensation Rate - Independent Contractors are compensated for each completed assessment.

QUALIFICATIONS A minimum of a bachelor's degree in a human services or related field is required.
Licensure is not required.
Two years of clinical experience working in behavioral health with adolescents.
Performing assessments and evaluations involving interviewing adolescents is a strong plus.
