Research Manager

Based in our Rockford, IL or Elyria, OH locations, this position will be responsible for managing market and field research studies, analyzing research results, and sharing learnings throughout the organization. The Research Manager will be an expert on research methodologies and processes and implement best practices. You will be a resource for product managers and others to improve overall research competencies throughout the organization. This position will supervise a research analyst who will assist in developing research and analyzing results. As a RESEARCH MANAGER, you will be responsible for designing and conducting research to understand customer needs and identify ways to improve products. Specific responsibilities include:
Manage multiple market and field research projects simultaneously Drive small and large-scale projects from start to finish Collaborate with product management and engineering to scope research needs and prioritize projects Determine the research methodology best suited for each project Conduct primary and secondary research, qualitative and quantitative Develop research briefs, select research firms, and manage research conducted by 3rd parties Analyze research results and triangulate data from various sources to draw conclusions and aid in making product and business decisions Clearly and concisely summarize data to present findings to stakeholders Be a research subject matter expert and act as a resource for product managers and others to improve research competencies across the company WHO YOU ARE:

You use customer insights to drive and guide the development of new offerings. You provide timely and helpful information to individuals across the organization. REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Bachelors degree in business, statistics, market research, marketing, or a related field with a minimum of 3 years' experience conducting, analyzing, and documenting market research. Equivalent education and experience considered. Quantitative and qualitative analysis skills and experience Experience with primary and secondary research Must be comfortable developing data-driven analyses to draw conclusions from research and summarize for senior management PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
MBA degree
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Marketing Research & AnalysisEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
